ASU Recap

This week, Duke traveled to Boone, North Carolina to race at Appalachian State's road race weekend.  Guess who dominated?  Duke.

 

Results

 

In the Men's C's, Zhan Khaw took 4th in both the criterium, and the road race.  In the Men's B races, Alex Fulton won in the road race, and Jonathan Crimins took 6th in the road race, and 10th in the criterium. Gina Turrini won the Women's B criterium!  Be sure to congratulate her on her first win this season when you see her on campus!  Becky Woodruff took a very impressive 4th in the Women's A criterium after her solo break away was reeled in late in the race.

In the Men's A criterium, Rob Ferris took 3rd, and Matt Rinehart took 4th.  Matt Howe and Mike Mulvihill took 9th and 10th, respectively.  In the road race, Mike Mulvihill won, with Matt Howe taking 3rd, Rinehart was 6th, Kaleb Naegali was 10th, and Jeff Reid was 12th.  Total domination.

 

In the time trials, Duke raced with two Men's A team time trial teams, and took 1st in 2nd in the team time trial!  3rd place (Virginia Tech) was 39 seconds behind Duke's first time trial team, and 7 seconds behind Duke's second time trial team.
