  • Joining the Club

When you join the Duke University Cycling Club, you get access to bike training sessions, deals on gear, access to workouts, and much more.  Most importantly, you become associated with an organization that is very passionate about bikes and the surrounding community.

To join, you must fill out the Duke club sports waivers and pay the club’s annual dues.

    Become a Racer

Duke University Cycling Club has 3 main seasons: Mountain biking, cyclocross, and road racing.  If you are interested in racing for the team in any of these races, please contact Chris Martin <ctm8@duke.edu>.

    Buy a Jersey

If you have any interest in buying a 2009-2010 jersey, please email Chris Martin (ctm8@duke.edu) if you have not already done so.  If you have contacted Chris, then stay tuned for information.  We’ll have a final kit design available the week of October 12-16th, and will likely have fit sessions available to help you determine the right size to order.

    Sponsor the Club

Please contact Chris Martin (ctm8@duke.edu) if you have an interest in sponsoring the Duke University Cycling Club on either a personal or corporate level.

    Join the Email List

** From the List Manager Website:

You can either visit the list’s home page at <https://lists.duke.edu/sympa/info/bike> (replacing LISTNAME with the list’s name), or you can send a message to sympa@duke.edu with either the subject or body:

    SUBSCRIBE BIKE

If you run into any problems subscribing yourself to the list, please contact the list’s owners at <bike-request@duke.edu>.

    Leave the Email List

** From the List Manager Website:

If you’re on a mailing list and wish to be removed from it, you have a couple of choices. If you’re on the list with the email address that shows up under “Email Address” in the “User Information” section after you log in, you can simply click the list’s link under “Your Lists,” and then hit the “Unsubscribe” link under “List Operations.”

If you don’t see the list under “Your Lists” then you’re probably subscribed under a different address, and you’ll need to use the email interface to remove that address from the list. Simply send a message to sympa@duke.edu with the following in either the subject or the body:

    UNSUBSCRIBE BIKE ADDRESS

Replace ADDRESS with the address you want removed. For Duke users, this is almost always going to be your netid@duke.edu address. You will then be sent a confirmation message by Sympa to which you can simply reply.

If you run into any problems removing yourself from the list, please contact the list’s owners at <bike-request@duke.edu>.
